Osman Bey thwarts Kantakouzenos’ plans in Constantinople, but the cunning strategist persists in his game. Kantakouzenos initiates a new strategy, enlisting Olof’s aid as the first step. Olof, driven by revenge for his brother Saga, arrives in Yenişehir with his men at Kantakouzenos’ behest. Their goal is to besiege Osman Bey, plotting to attack him from both external and internal fronts.
